For this tenth edition, the festival opened up to young artists from the Fine Arts Schools of Nîmes and Avignon); and it was the village squares that they took over...

Ephemeral installations that were constructed and deconstructed in front of and with the help of the public: participatory hanging of fresh flowers (EVA GEORGY) or crepe paper (CHARLOTTE TRIMAILLE) to metal structures; destruction and deconstruction of crates for reassembly into structures which evolved on a wall throughout the weekend (MOYA MASSET); hanging painted plastic tarpaulins which flapped in the wind and folded up in the rain between the plane trees in the Place de la Fontaine (ROMUALD GUIBOUX) ; between these tarpaulins which were rolled up, unrolled and then torn during the four days it took to install them, an inhabited cabin-like structure gradually rose up (RONAN MARET), made of wood and clay that the air and rain have successively made crack and then flow; finally, the spreading of pebbles (SALOME ANGEL) collected in the fields of Vers, then painted in bright colors, invited young and old to cross an alley or zigzag, hop from one pile to another, before leaving with a souvenir pebble...

This experience, which required extensive preparation during the months preceding the final implementation, was made possible thanks to the mediation of Jacline Machard for the association and the student artist WON JY for the four students of the Fine Arts of Nîmes.
The common thread of their performance (Let the color leave the support and return transformed...) was inherited from the Support-Surface movement, which is well established in our region and which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. An initiatory stroll through these performances was led on Sunday morning under the leadership of Pascale Marchesi, tour guide at the Carré d'Art Museum of Contemporary Art in Nîmes and member of the association.

In the courtyard of the Vers school The works that the children had produced under the guidance of six young artists who came to speak in the classes were exhibited.
The chosen theme was "Like a Tree in my life…" The experiment was conducted in partnership with the Community of Communes of Pont-du-Gard and the National Education. Sixty primary school classes participated in this project. All of the creations were exhibited on the Pont du Gard site, during 4 consecutive days of exhibition open to the public.
