Arts Courses & Gardens
» is an association from Gard which organizes an annual festival of contemporary art and today's creation.
Contemporary creation speaks to us about today's society and that of tomorrow. It invites us to desire something else so that future generations can preserve the intoxication of possibility and dreams. It speaks to us of an alternative to a world that is too materialistic and too realistic.
To this end, every year since 2009, around forty painters, sculptors, ceramists and photographers from all over France and abroad, selected by a competent jury, exhibit their works in the intimate setting of the courtyards and gardens that the inhabitants of the village of Vers-Pont-du-Gard open during a weekend in July.
The very convivial nature of the exhibition creates an atmosphere conducive to dialogue and exchanges between artists and visitors; symbiosis takes place since many people buy a work to enjoy it quietly at home.
The vocation of our association and our annual Festival is:
• to support artists in their efforts towards the public and in their search for greater openness;• to introduce art to rural areas that are so deprived of it;. and to organize guided outings to museums and exhibitions in the region...
The role of mediator of " Arts Courses and Gardens " is to support artists, their Versois hosts, as well as visitors, in their desire to develop imaginations, broaden perspectives, bring art to life and enrich themselves through culture.

Each member of the association Arts Courses and Gardens is different, but what unites us is our shared passion for Art in all its diversity. Together we are committed to promoting access to art for all, by creating an inspiring and inclusive environment.
Our goal is to foster personal and collective development through artistic practice, while cultivating strong ties with the local community.
