For 2019, in addition to the exhibitions in the courtyards and gardens of Vers that have become traditional, the association wishes to invest in a larger project by offering this summer a showcase to a family of artists in exile. This is a spontaneous gesture following a joint action at the beginning of 2018, by the association " The Workshops of Artists in Exile » ("aa-e"), winner of the 2019 Culture for Peace Prize and the Minister of Culture, Madame Françoise Nyssen.

Our wish is to bring to life the freedom of creation and artistic expression, to continue to broaden our perspectives, which is part of our artistic approach and objective of introducing our visitors to original artists. For this, we will welcome, still within the village, two artists in exile for a two-week residency, from Sunday 7 to Monday 22 July 2019.

Two Iranian artists were selected with Judith Depaule, head of “ aa-e ". It is about Mehdi Yarmohammadi, sculptor andHura Mirshekari, painter.
